As you already know, Cmatic has a new user-friendly website. What probably you don’t know yet is that we worked hard to make the CAD downloading process easier and more efficient than ever before. You can generate a model of any Cmatic fitting by choosing among several file formats now. The only requirement to download the 3D or 2D model(s) is to be logged in to the Private Area. If you don’t, no 3D preview and downloading option will be displayed.
You can download your file by following 4 simple steps:
- Log in to your Private Area and fill in with your username and password (if it’s the first time you log in, you should create a new account by filling in the form with the required personal data and then create a password). Remember, you’ll land to your account space which is populated by the personal data you’ve previously filled in. It means that you are logged in and you can browse the complete website.
- Click on the searching tool and type the product code (if you don’t know the code you can search by industrial sector, product type, material, or unit of measure).
- Click on your product, scroll down, and generate your 3D model! You can choose among several 3D formats. A little tip: If you are not sure about the format, generate a STEP file. STEP files are compatible with most CAD programs.
- You can pick several formats at once. Just generate the 2D/3D models of the item you need and then click download!
